Fiduciary Officer
We're a financial technology company building the infrastructure for a new generation of digital payments and value transfer. We believe our industry will underpin a faster, more global, and more efficient financial system than today's siloed infrastructure. We're building a full-service platform that makes issuing, managing, and integrating our core product seamless for developers, fintechs, and institutions alike.
We believe our product should be a public good: trusted, accessible, and built for real-world utility. We're backed by leading investors and growing a team to reimagine how value moves online.
About the Team
We bring the discipline of high-performance finance and risk teams together with the creativity of a fast-moving, mission-driven startup. You'll join a tight-knit governance, risk, compliance, and control function that values independence, clear thinking, and high-velocity decision making — building the trust infrastructure that regulators, partners, and the market expect from an institutional-grade financial platform.
Job Summary
The Fiduciary Officer will oversee and administer the Company's chartered bank's fiduciary activities, ensuring all fiduciary activities comply with applicable law, governing advisory agreements, and client investment objectives. Reporting functionally to the CEO, this role works closely with executive management, the Risk and Compliance Committee, the Audit and Fiduciary Committee, and functional leaders.
This is a senior executive position central to the Company's governance framework as it scales a regulated, institutional-grade financial platform — a highly visible, hands-on role with direct exposure to the Board and executive leadership.

- Oversee advisory product design and client onboarding
- Review and approve investment recommendations prior to client delivery
Conflicts of Interest Management
- Design and oversee conflict of interest frameworks for advisory products
- Serve as primary point of accountability for identifying, reviewing, and resolving conflicts
- Maintain a documented conflicts log for Committee review
Policy Ownership and Compliance
- Coordinate with the Chief Compliance Officer to integrate fiduciary compliance into the broader compliance program
- Ensure staff are trained on applicable fiduciary policies, procedures, and regulations
- Coordinate with the Chief Audit Officer on audit scope, frequency, and timely remediation
- Prepare periodic fiduciary compliance reports for the Risk and Compliance Committee
Talent and Organizational Development
- Ensure the fiduciary function is adequately staffed with relevant fiduciary, industry, and regulatory expertise
- Establish clear performance expectations for staff supporting fiduciary account administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or law required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or related master's) preferred
- 10–15+ years of progressively responsible experience in fiduciary or trust administration at a national bank, federal savings association, state-chartered trust company, registered investment adviser, asset manager, or comparable regulated institution
- Demonstrated experience with fiduciary standards under the Investment Advisers Act, ERISA fiduciary requirements, and federal trust/fiduciary banking regulations (including account review, recordkeeping, and conflicts provisions)
- Prior senior fiduciary leadership with program-level accountability, not just account-level administration
- Experience overseeing fiduciary advisory relationships, including investment recommendation review
- Track record presenting to boards and board-level committees (e.g., Risk & Compliance, Audit & Fiduciary)
- Experience engaging with a federal prudential regulator on exams, findings, and remediation
- Experience building or scaling a fiduciary program (policies, procedures, controls) strongly preferred
Licenses and Certifications (one or more preferred)
- Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
