Cybersecurity Consultant / CHECK Team Lead Pentester

Specialism: OT & Hardware Security Testing 

This is a standout opportunity to join a rapidly scaling UK technology business operating at the sharp edge of cybersecurity innovation.

I am looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to deliver high-impact security testing across complex environments, including OT and hardware. You’ll be responsible for emulating real-world attack scenarios, identifying weaknesses, and clearly articulating risk and remediation to clients.

The ideal candidate will bring several years of practical penetration testing experience and a genuine enthusiasm for the cybersecurity field. 

To be successful in this Cyber Security Consultant role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Active SC Security Clearance
    Due to the sensitive nature of client engagements, current SC clearance is essential.

  • CHECK / CREST Certifications
    You must hold CTL or CSTL status.
    CRT (CREST Registered Tester) or QTSM certification is highly desirable.

  • OT & Hardware Testing Experience
    Practical exposure to operational technology and hardware security testing is strongly preferred.

  • Proven Industry Experience
    At least five years’ experience within cybersecurity, with a solid grounding in penetration testing and security assessment methodologies.

  • Security Tooling Expertise
    Comfortable using a broad range of industry-standard tools, including both commercial and open-source solutions.

  • Linux & Virtualisation Knowledge
    Strong working knowledge of Linux environments and hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms.

  • Strong Technical Analysis Skills
    Able to methodically diagnose, validate, and articulate security weaknesses across complex systems.

  • High Standards & Attention to Detail
    A meticulous approach to testing and reporting, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and quality.

  • Clear Communication
    Confident in communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, verbally and in written reports.

You will engage with C-level executives, lead discovery calls, and manage customer journeys and technical roadmaps, including product integrations and customisations.

My client are interviewing for an Azure Integration Engineer with experience using Logic Apps to integrate between D365 F&O and Salesforce to start on a 6 month contract. This is a technical role with some functional skill set. In this role you will be working through revisions & updates and then moving onto new orders. Experience with integrating between Salesforce and D365 F&O is desired and the rate will be nearer the top end if you have hands on experience with both systems.
